The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) is a statutory corporation wholly owned by the Government of Antigua & Barbuda and is the sole provider of electricity, water and fixed line telephone services to the nation of Antigua & Barbuda. In January 2000, it entered into the mobile cellular business and continues to this day. Similarly in 2005, it entered into the broadband internet service business, and continues in this business up to this day. The new commercial brand inet was launched in April 2018 consisting of inet home, inet business and inet mobile, the latter offering a brand new 4G plus mobile network, the most advanced on Antigua & Barbuda. APUA has a team of approximately eight hundred (800) employees across all the business units who are deeply committed to the reliable delivery of public utilities and telecommunications services to suit the needs of the residents of Antigua & Barbuda.
