Opportunity Overview:

KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (KJESS) operating from the Kingston office, is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).The Events and Meetings function is expanding operations at JESS by hiring an Officer to provide support to the process.  Team members within the delivery center work with Client’s stakeholders under a team extension model to support Client’s back office operations.

You'll manage the Events & Meetings Support Center, ensuring seamless experiences for in-person, hybrid, and virtual programs. Collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients to provide solutions for event inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Events & Meetings support center via email.
  • Provide expert solutions leveraging knowledge of Events & Meetings processes.
  • Handle COUPA orders, Concur travel arrangements, and restaurant analysis.
  • Support risk and compliance processes.
  • Track and utilize key data points for timely management of inquiries.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience preferably within a events and meetings team or professional services firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills to support an environment driven by client focus, teamwork and building productive relationships
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
