We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a private healthcare provider based in Bermuda. The practice delivers high-quality, patient-centered care through a wide range of primary care, specialty services, and advanced medical treatments.
This is a strategic leadership role overseeing both clinical and administrative operations of a growing private medical center. The Practice & Operations Manager will serve as Head of the Business Unit, leading providers, nurses, front desk staff, and medical assistants to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant operations. While occasional clinical support may be required, the focus is on business performance, staff development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Leadership & Practice Operations
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, including scheduling, workflow, and staff supervision.
- Act as the Head of the Business Unit, making data-driven decisions to drive efficiency, growth, and profitability.
- Monitor and manage KPIs, financial targets, and quality metrics.
- Develop and implement internal policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practice operations.
- Oversee inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships with a focus on cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership on marketing, business development, and service expansion.
- Ensure effective use of EMR systems and other healthcare technologies.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Provide clinical guidance and oversight to ensure high standards of patient care and safety protocols.
- Mentor clinical staff on compliance and operational standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and clinical reviews as appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7 years’ leadership experience in a private medical practice is required.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related field.
- Proficient in EMR systems and practice management tools.
- Strong skills in budgeting, operations, HR oversight, procurement, and performance management.
