  • The Technician should have general and functional knowledge of HVAC, Fire Detection & Alarm, Electrical, and associated building systems and shall be responsible for direct supervision of the Company’s vendor’s / service providers engaged to undertake routine Preventive Maintenance and Repair of respective site equipment as assigned.
  • Coordinate and perform routine checks, monitoring, troubleshooting and repair of MEP related equipment, including but not limited to, fans, water heaters, submergible pumps, door motors, HVAC units, building power and lighting systems etc.
  • Report on systems performance, assess equipment service records and provide the company with technical advice / recommendation for improvement in efficiency and reliability.
  • Must be computer literate and have a working understanding of, at minimum, Microsoftoffice programs. Experience with the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) will be an asset.
  • Possess the ability to read, understand and interpret building drawings, technicalillustrations, wiring and schematics diagrams etc, and computer-generated reports as well the review of system specifications, to ensure that existing and new equipment installations and respective operating parameter conform to standards.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact withinternal and external technical professionals at all levels.
  • Possesses and capable of utilising all relevant tools and device (multimeter, hand tools etc.) necessary to perform routine checks, monitoring, troubleshooting and minor repairs of MEP related equipment.
  • Support with the preparation of material restocking and order list for supplies related to the FM role.
  • Support to review and or prepare safe to work documents e.g., permits, job hazard analysis etc.
  • Management of clients’s sub-contractors and service providers associated with the FM function and the required planning / coordination of operation and maintenance (O&M) actions for MEP equipment on site as well as permitting coordination and management.
  • Possess Qualifications (certificate, diploma, etc.) in electrical and/or mechanical field.
  • At least eight (8) years’ experience in the repair / maintenance of MEP systems and equipment in a commercial / industrial environment. With a minimum of two (2) years supervisory and contract management experience.
