Position Summary

High-end barbershiped that is redefining men’s grooming through precision, sophistication, and a curated experience tailored for the modern gentleman. The Master Barber plays a critical role in delivering this promise by providing expert-level grooming services—including haircuts, straight razor shaves, beard detailing, scalp treatments, and skin care enhancements—while creating a welcoming, luxurious environment for clients.

This individual must uphold the highest standards in grooming, customer service, and cleanliness, and serve as a leader and role model for junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

Grooming Services

• Perform all signature services with precision and consistency, including:

  • Classic and modern haircuts

  • Razor shaves, head shaves, beard trims and designs

  • Scalp massages, shampoo/conditioning treatments

  • Facial treatments, mask applications, and product consultations

• Execute services in accordance with the Grooming Playbook to ensure uniform service quality and product use.

Client Experience

• Deliver a polished, distinguished experience at every touchpoint—greeting, consultation, service, and close.

• Maintain an atmosphere of calm, confidence, and exclusivity tailored to each client’s needs.

• Provide professional grooming advice and product recommendations that align with the established brand.

Team & Training Leadership

• Mentor and guide junior barbers and apprentices.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of grooming trends, tools, and techniques.

• Assist in onboarding and training new barbers to the organisations service standards.

Sanitation & Station Management

• Keep workstations impeccably clean and fully stocked according to established protocols.

• Ensure tools are sanitized and stored safely.

• Monitor product usage to maintain cost control and service consistency.

Operational Support

• Contribute to the scheduling and flow of daily appointments.

• Assist with retail product inventory, merchandising, and monthly promotional efforts.

• Participate in exclusive grooming events, hotel partnerships, and off-site promotional services as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid barbering license or certification 

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed barber, with a focus on men’s grooming

• Proficiency in straight razor techniques, skin care treatments, and luxury service delivery

• Knowledge of high-end grooming products and ability to recommend them appropriately

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Commitment to cleanliness, professionalism, and service excellence

Preferred Attributes

• Previous experience in a luxury barbershop or hotel/resort grooming setting

• Skilled in scalp analysis, product upselling, and skin consultations

• Confident, composed, and discreet demeanor
