Job Description

The Marketing Officer, reporting to the Brand Manager, plays a crucial role in executing impactful brand experiences in-store, online and at events. The primary focus of this role is to develop and implement brand social media campaigns, monitor brand presence online, collaborate with influencers, execute brand events and ensure brand consistency across all trade activations. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement brand campaigns (on and offline) to enhance brand visibility and engagement. 
  • Monitor and manage the brand's online presence across various social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with influencers to promote the brand and reach a wider audience. 
  • Ensure brand consistency across all trade activations, including in-store promotions and events. 
  • Collaborate with branch teams and external agencies to support branch sales activities.
  • Coordinate with retail stores to ensure that brand POS materials are received for each campaign or sales event. 
  • Generate and manage Purchase Orders before the start of every brand activity.
  • Ensure that invoices from suppliers are submitted promptly after job completion. 
  • Process and approve supplier invoices and forward them to the Finance department for payment. 
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate payment to suppliers.
  • Maintain inventory of all branding and branded paraphernalia
  • Manage a flexible 40-hour workweek (Monday - Saturday), with overtime paid after 40 hours as needed to meet job requirements.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. 
  • Proven experience in social media marketing and brand activations. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
