Marketing Officer

Graphic design, promotions, events, managing customer complaints and other administrative duties

Our Client in the Retail Industry, located in East of Trinidad is seeking to recruit a Marketing Officer. 

COMPENSATION: $8,000.00 PER MONTH

CONTRACT: 6 MONTHS

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Create visual concepts using computer software or photographs to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate consumers. 
2. Develop the overall layout and production design for applications (e.g. Ads, brochures/flyers, product packaging)
3. Develop the physical mapping and planogram for use by various departments.
4. Liaise with Purchasing, Advertising Agency and Stores monthly to ensure on time promotional execution (deadlines are met) 
5. Assist with planning and execution of all special promotions according to the marketing calendar e.g. advertising, invoicing and coordinating with the purchasing team to confirm items for specials.
6. Daily Monitoring and Administration of All Social Media correspondence and advertising. 
7. Analyze promotional performance by stores: items vs historical data (units, $value etc.). 
8. Participate in scheduling projects and defining budget constraints.
9. Identify Trade and Market opportunities with a view to expanding existing Customer base.  
10. Assist with planning and execution of all special promotions according to the marketing calendar e.g. advertising, invoicing and coordinating with the purchasing team to confirm items for specials.

General Qualification Requirements

1.  Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Computer Graphic Design or related field

2.  Minimum: Two (2) years' experience in a similar or related field

3.  Competent in Graphic Software

4.  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

5.  Effective interpersonal and communication skills

6.  Excellent time organizational skills

7.  Graphic layout skills and knowledge or digital and print

8.  Knowledge or retail packaging design requirements
