Marketing Officer

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Company’s marketing strategies, including managing campaigns, conducting market research, and analyzing performance data.

Main responsibilities include:

• Manage, develop and execute the Company’s comprehensive marketing strategies for the various marketing channels (trade, email, social media, website) and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Execute the company’s day-to-day marketing tasks, coordinate marketing projects and organize promotions to enhance sales and the strength of the brands. 
• Conduct research, focus groups and feedback sessions (vox pop, consumer surveys etc) to understand industry trends, customer behaviour/preference and competing brand perception to inform marketing strategies.
• Gather and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvements.
• Supervise social media programme and ensure effectiveness and proper brand representation, including reviewing of posting schedules, planning and execution of online promotions and coordinate live social media coverage for major marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with HODs and business units to determine budgets annual marketing budget based on goals and objectives for each financial year and track marketing budget against spend monthly.
• ·        Liaise with Advertising, Marketing and Public Relation service providers regarding all marketing initiative. 
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers and industry influencers through effective communication and network.

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc in Marketing or Business Administration
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• A minimum of 5+years demonstrable experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Social Media.
• Knowledge of social media support tools

Competencies

• Results Oriented & good team-player
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management (ability to multi-task and oversee multiple programs)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.)
