 We are seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position in the Premium Beverages Divison:

MARKETING COORDINATOR 

Job Purpose:

Provides support to the Premium Beverages Marketing Team in driving and expediting all activities relevant to the administration of the marketing function.  This includes oversight of the procure-to-pay process for vendors of marketing materials and services, as well as administrative support for brand projects of various Divisional brands.

 

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


Marketing Support

  • Collects, verifies and logs all invoices and purchase orders for the department, following through the entire process upon receiving the invoice to the invoice being paid.
  • Follows up with the Marketing Team and/or Accounts Department on outstanding invoices/payments.
  • Creates log of all department debit notes to help track claims / recoverables by following up with relevant Internal (Accounts, Brand / Commercial) and External teams (suppliers).
  • Generating basic summary reports by brands to track expenses to date against budget.
  • Collects new product information from the Brand Team and completes New Product set up form.
  • Assists the Brand Team with market research. This may involve but is not limited to: sourcing quotations, organising in house research, sourcing products and facilitating communication where necessary.
  • Prepares and follows up on Advertising and Promotions requirements for the Department and generates monthly update reports on key projects to Brand Managers.
  • Supports with pricing survey and collation of data and basic reports

 Brand Project support

  • Works with the Brand Manager or Trade Executive to help with various logistics towards implementing and executing approved Brand Plans projects
  • Works with the Brand teams to seek and procure key suppliers towards executing respective promotions which include obtaining various quotes for comparison and working with external parties to follow up on timely deliverables
  • Updates bin catalogue on a timely basis to manage point of sale inventory
  • Supports Brand teams with any basic level reports to support promotions or feedback, such as post mortems, trade visit schedules, or visit itinerary updates for various projects
  • Supports brand teams in compiling reports towards various presentations not limited to supplier visits or monthly brand reporting to suppliers
  • Plans and Books various support teams towards project planning e.g., booking graphics and promo schedules, A&P etc.
  • Monitors SLOBS at Distribution Centre on a monthly basis and implements measures to reduce stock levels.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • An Associate Degree or equivalent in Marketing or related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a marketing fmcg environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
