The Marketing Communications Specialist will provide brand management support and assist with the implementation of marketing, public relations, advertising, and promotional strategy for the organization as well as improve all communications flows, within and outside of company.

JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Communications Specialist will provide brand management support and assist with the implementation of marketing, public relations, advertising, and promotional strategy for the organization as well as improve all communications flows, within and outside of company. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for promoting a positive public image of the company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop creative messaging strategies to advertise the company’s vision and products on various advertising platforms. Help create compelling content for company website, social media channels and other communication platforms to drive engagement with target audiences.
  • Harmonize communication across all channels, assets, and markets for Amplia.
  • Ensure the brand book, guidelines, visual identity, and tone of voice of products is cohesive in all channels it is represented.
  • Support developing content such as flyers, brochures, SMS and app push notifications and emails.
  • Oversee all channels where products are present to ensure all initiatives are being communicated in the correct timeframes and are meeting commercial teams’ expectations.
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of external communications.
  • Support the management of the agencies that support public relations, branding, social media, influencers, and digital marketing executions.
  • Responsible for the creation, adaptation and updating of communications for the company.
  • Work with Marketing colleagues and Agency to develop creative messaging strategies to advertise the company’s vision and products on social media platforms.
  • Review and provide quality checks on communication platforms regularly to ensure accuracy and consistency of messages, i.e. digital boards, retail stores, website, TVC, radio, social and digital.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote the company's products, services, events, and experiences.
  • Manage administrative side of social media accounts, including content creation, monitoring engagement, scheduling posts, and analyzing metrics.
  • Track and report on the success of campaigns and social media engagement.
  • Design, organize and implement a creative and effective communications strategy in conjunction with the Marketing Team including content management for the company’s website and other public facing forums ensuring that it is adequately integrated into the company’s plans and operations.
  • Serve as liaison between various departments involved in the process of executing any educational marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as required.
  • Provide expert advice to internal clients on building and protecting the Company’s brand name and image.
  • Build long-term relationships with influencers and key stakeholders.
  • Support ad-hoc requests from the team regarding brand and communications.
  • Drafting content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or company profiles.
  • Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy around specific campaigns and product releases.
  • Conduct market research to identify new advertising opportunities.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance and use data to optimize future campaigns.
  • Represent company at meetings and in other settings on matters related to media relations or external communication.
  • Compose draft speeches for management.
  • Create and compile reports requested by Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable HSE legislation and policies as far as reasonably practicable.
  • Commit to attending all required HSE training.
  • Ensure all HSE assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are fulfilled on a continuous basis.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications studies, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or English; or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven two (2) year experience within similar position.
  • Experience in web design and content production.
  • Experience in copywriting and editing.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
  • Considerable knowledge of corporate communications, public relations will be an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress will be an asset.
  • In depth knowledge of traditional and social media channels with experience in digital digital marketing is highly desirable as well as corporate /external communications strategies.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Proficient command of English
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) and web design/illustration software and/or databases.
  • Minimum requirement of intermediate computer skills.
  • Knowledge of the Internet/IPTV and Fiber Optic Technology would be an asset.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment.
  • Available to work on weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Industry knowledge an asset.
