The incumbent will be required to provide administrative and marketing support to the Marketing Department in the Food & Grocery Division

A.S. BRYDEN & SONS (TRINIDAD) LIMITED

 We are seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position in the Food & Grocery Divison:

MARKETING ASSISTANT 

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 

  • Collects, verifies and logs all invoices and Purchase Orders for the department, following through the entire process upon receiving the invoice to the invoice being paid.
  • Follows up with the Marketing Team and/or Accounts Department on outstanding invoices/payments
  • Creates a log of all Department debit notes and follows up with Accounts on status. Collects new product information from the Brand Team and complete New Product Set up form.
  • Creates a log of existing Trade Agreements to reconcile with invoices received on a monthly basis.
  • Assists the Brand Team with Market Research. This may involve but is not limited to: sourcing quotations externally, organising in house research, sourcing products and facilitating communication where necessary.
  • Prepares and follows up on Advertising and Promotions requirements for the Department and generates monthly update reports on key projects to Brand Managers.
  • Assists the Marketing Team with customer complaints, warehouse issues, accounts issues etc.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • A Diploma in Marketing or related field. 
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a marketing environment
  • Experience in a FMCG environment would be an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
