The Manager will lead strategic initiatives, market research, and business development to support the goals of the TDC Group of Companies.

Job Summary:

The Manager will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives that will support the TDC Group of Companies' goals and initiatives. The position holder will conduct in-depth market research, and competitive analysis, and undertake new business development plans and research.

Main Duties:

  • Direct and oversee the implementation, measurement and evaluation of the TDC Strategic Plan. 
  • Undertake research to provide the Strategic Development exercise with empirical Marketing Data for decision-making.
  • Grasp key Market Trends, Competitors and Information Technology issues through Market research, to support business units, and specific Strategic Plans.
  • Construct New Business Development Plans and Research.
  • Project Analysis and Management, to direct and coordinate Project Initiatives and ensure key deliverables.
  •  Restructure the strategic business units to be more efficient.
  • Ensure that the TDC Information System supports the strategic direction.
  • Develop and drive the overall Mission and Vision of the TDC Group of Companies.
  • Shape and influence the Strategic Business Direction of the TDC Group of Companies by framing Strategic Business Options and recommending a course of action.
  • Play an advisory role with Senior Managers, including the development of Annual Business Plans and Financial Budgets.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce or Management
  • Master’s Degree in Administration, Economics, or related business field would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Economics and Mathematics
  • Should have considerable work experience within the TDC group of Companies and would have managed diverse Departments/Subsidiaries. 
  • Should know all parts of the TDC group of Companies and the synergies or how they interrelate.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the Social, Political and Economic trends that could affect the TDC Group and to articulate how to react to these trends.
  • Respected and can work well with other key members of the Group as a team
  • Good Accounting background/proficiency in the interpretation of financial statements.
  • Dedicated to achieving the Goals of the TDC Group of Companies.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures
  • Good judgment skills
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Firm grasp of economics, financial analysis, market research and mathematics
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
