Scope of Role

The Manager – Retail Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hardware store, leading a dynamic sales team, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and storage processes.
• Drive sales growth while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational and sales objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards and company policies.
• Support promotional activities and strengthen customer relationships.
• Monitor store performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in hardware store management or retail operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction and building materials.
• Sound understanding of inventory control and stock management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
