Role Overview: The Manager, Procurement develops, negotiates, executes and implements moderate complexity procurement contracts, while ensuring that the organisation’s procurement risks are mitigated, and regulatory requirements & policies are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads supplier negotiations for moderate-complexity agreements in software, SaaS, and IT services, ensuring efficiency, feasibility, and best value.
- Drafts and finalises contracts, negotiations and approval processes in collaboration with stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Corporate security, Ops Risk), ensuring compliance with procurement, supplier governance, and regulatory policies.
- Enhances SLAs/SLOs by working with stakeholders (including executives, contract owners, senior managers, etc.) to monitor vendor compliance and improve service delivery across the organisation’s third-party ecosystem.
- Manages contract and invoice disputes, assessing financial and reputational impact, and supporting sustainable resolutions.
- Collaborates with business leaders to optimise suppliers, create value, and improve vendor service while managing risk.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in a Business Administration, Banking and Finance or other business-related field.
- Project Management or Agile certification and / or knowledge of agile process / methodology
- 3-5 years’ experience in procurement including negotiating contracts, sourcing materials and managing supplier relationships
- Ability to manage enterprise supplier relationships – local, regional and international suppliers
- Knowledge of local regulatory requirements and framework regarding outsourcing arrangements for financial institutions in the Caribbean.
- Experience drafting various contract schedules (e.g., Scope of Work, Commercial Terms, etc.) is preferred but not necessary
- Experience of working in, technical environments while collaborating with vendors, partners and teams across and the business.
- Proficiency in procurement software
- Data analysis skills to assess costs, vendors performance and market trends
- Knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
