Manager – Governance, Quality, Privacy & Strategy

Core Functions

  • Develop and implement a data quality strategy and execution plan.
  • Define and implement Data Quality Score measurements for all key data sources supporting critical processes.
  • Establish and coordinate a data ownership and stewardship program across all business domains to ensure accountability for data accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee the mapping and documentation of data lineage for all regulatory and business reports within the enterprise data catalog.
  • Support the development, refinement, and publication of Data, Privacy, AI, and Model Governance frameworks and policies, ensuring compliance and ethical use of data and AI models.
  • Champion the implementation of governance routines and policies across business units through training, awareness, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support with the Head – EIM and the Strategy Office to translate enterprise and divisional strategies into actionable data and analytics priorities.
  • Lead the end-to-end management of data breaches and security events from rapid investigation and impact mitigation to reporting, transforming reactive crisis management into a structured process that minimizes reputational risk and ensures business continuity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Information Management, or any other related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ working experience.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Strategy, Analytics or Data Management is an asset.
