Supports the organization by providing guidance to promote acceptable financial performance and compliance with financial policies, processes, and standards that promote sharing of best practices; provides overall co-ordination and execution of all financial activities and projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent will be required to:
1. Direct the Project Accounting function including timely invoice processing and payment,
2. Facilitate establishment of Development Programme / Capital Works Budgets
3. Establishment and monitoring of Corporate-Wide Annual Operational Budget
4. Development of Financial Projections for Operations and Capital Budgets
5. Preparation and maintenance of Industrial Park Financial Reporting in GP Management Reporter
6. Management of e TecK Insurance Portfolio
7. Management of e Teck’s Investment Property / Fixed Asset Portfolio
8. Tracking and monitoring of Revenue Generating Operations
9. Financial Evaluation of Tenders
10. Annual and Quarterly Service Fee Assessment and Billing
11. Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on project investments
12. Management of InvesTT Financial Operations
13. Develop, implement and maintain financial policies and processes for Project Accounting, Budgeting/Forecasting, Management Reporting, Insurances, Revenue Operations, Financial Assessment, Asset Valuation and InvesTT Financial Operations
14. Represent e TecK’s interests with various Government and External Agencies including Financial Institutions to secure project funding
15. Provide Comprehensive Reports on all matters, to all stakeholders as required including Line Ministry and Ministry of Finance
16. Provide sound financial reporting guidelines for financial period close and financial statement preparation in accordance with International Financial Reporting and Accounting Standards
17. Coach and manage staff performance while providing effective leadership and developing subordinates for succession planning and change management
18. Comply fully with e TecK’s policies, procedures, core values, codes of professional conduct and business ethics
19. Perform any other duties as required by the job function
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Master’s in Business Administration/Finance/ or related field
2. ACCA/CMA/CPA Certified
3. At least five (5) years Managerial Experience
Or any other equivalent combination of qualification and experience.
