We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to manage the daily operations of our Credit Union and provide leadership to staff while ensuring excellent member service and sound financial management.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to manage the daily operations of our Credit Union and provide leadership to staff while ensuring excellent member service and sound financial management.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors and staff to ensure the efficient operation of the Credit Union, maintain compliance with policies and regulations, support business growth, and promote a positive member experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Credit Union
  • Supervise and support staff to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Assist with planning and implementing operational goals and business initiatives
  • Monitor the financial performance of the Credit Union and prepare reports for the Board
  • Oversee budgeting, cash flow, payroll review, and general financial controls
  • Ensure compliance with Credit Union policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures
  • Support loan operations and monitor loan portfolio performance
  • Assist in developing and promoting products and services to members
  • Coordinate staff meetings, performance discussions, and training opportunities
  • Work with auditors, regulators, banks, and other external stakeholders as required
  • Ensure good member relations and timely resolution of issues and complaints
  • Support the implementation of internal controls and risk management procedures
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly operational reports for the Board

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum five (5) years supervisory or management experience, preferably within a Credit Union or financial services environment
  • Working knowledge of Credit Union operations and financial practices
  • Experience supervising staff and managing daily operations
  • Familiarity with accounting processes, budgeting, and reporting
  • Knowledge of Credit Union software would be an asset
  • Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Member-focused with the ability to work well with staff, members, and stakeholders
