MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

 The incumbent provides accurate financial insights, performance analysis, and management reporting to support data-driven decision-making. He/She will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, deliver timely financial analysis, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role also supports operational efficiency and profitability by partnering closely with property and facilities teams, offering guidance on cost control, revenue optimisation, and financial performance across the portfolio.

 POSITION SUMMARY:

• Prepare timely and accurate management accounts and performance reports
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, capex and cash flow projections
• Conduct variance analysis, highlighting risks, opportunities and corrective actions
• Provide financial insight to the relevant teams on revenue streams, arrears, service charges and maintenance expenses
• Provide support to the preparation of Board reports and presentation
• Monitor expenditure across properties, operational and capex projects and departments to ensure efficiency
• Implement and maintain cost allocation methods for property-related income and expenses
• Assist in developing internal controls to safeguard company and client funds
• Conduct profitability and cost-benefit analysis on capital projects and major maintenance works
• Assist in coordinating related internal and external audits
• Maintain compliance with IFRS, lease agreements and regulatory requirements
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial input on occupancy, arrears management and investment decisions
• Prepare financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning
• Provide recommendations for improving processes, efficiency and profitability

POSITION SPECIFICATION: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Possess relevant accounting professional designation or is actively pursuing the designation (ACCA/CPA)
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in management accounting
• Working experience in a real estate, property management or related industry is an asset but not a requirement   
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial analysis and cash flow management
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with modeling
• Experienced in preparing management accounts, budgets and forecasts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work across teams and manage multiple stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time management skills
