Hands on Maintenance of industrial process machines
Prime responsibility will be to ensure that all electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all electrical equipment used in the production process, such as electrical motors, control systems, transformers, transducer, PLC, VFD and switchgear.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems are in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of electrical systems and equipment, as well as strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with other members of the plant team.
Additionally, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet production goals.
Job responsibilities:
10. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on electrical equipment and systems.
11. Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans for electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipmentand systems.
12. Ensuring that all electrical systems and equipment are in compliance with relevant safety regulations andstandards.
You should be able to provide following Monthly reports
Following are the reports that you may be required to prepare and submit at end of every month.
2.Repair Reports: Whenever you repair an electrical system or piece of equipment, you will be required to create a repair report. This report should detail the problem that was identified, the steps taken to fix it, any replacement parts used, and the overall outcome of the repair. These reports are important for tracking the status of repairs, identifying recurring issues, and planning for future repairs or replacements.
3 Safety Reports: As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical equipment and systems are in compliance with safety regulations and standards. This includes conducting regular safety inspections and creating safety reports that document any safety concerns or issues that were identified during the inspection.
4.Project Reports: If you are involved in any major electrical projects, you may be required to create project reports that detail the scope of the project, the work performed, and the outcome of the project. These reports areimportant for documenting the progress of the project and ensuring that it meets the required specifications and standards.
Qualification and Skills
Preferebly Electrical Engineering qualification from UWI or UTT with 5 years hands on experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
Should be able to read the Electrical Schematic Drawing.
Competence in performing general skilled manual maintenance tasks
Must possess trade skills in Welding, Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
