The Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) will play a vital role in keeping production machinery operating at peak performance.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) plays a key role in ensuring plant machinery operate at peak performance to support the delivery of high quality beverages to customers. The incumbent will be responsible for optimizing the mechanical and pneumatic reliability of plant machinery to ensure efficiency, safety and operational uptime of the production  processes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues with urgency to minimize downtime.
• Support machinery overhauls, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate work orders and reports while upholding excellent housekeeping and safety standards.

 Requirements

• Diploma in MEET, EEET, MET or equivalent qualifications
• 2 year Journeyman Certificate.
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing Industry
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor
• Experience in the beverage or manufacturing industry is a plus
