Maintenance Technician (2 Roles)

Electrical Maintenance Technician - Principal Responsibilities

  • Carry out minor electrical maintenance work, such as repair or replacement of fixtures, including wall switches and outlets, LED tubes and bulbs, fuses, sockets, etc., by applying the right tools.
  • Install and maintain basic electrical sub-circuits.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical equipment and systems.
  • Use industrial instrumentation measuring devices.
  • Plan for wiring and installation of electrical/electronic machinery and/or appliances.
  • Perform testing and inspection of electrical circuits/installations.
  • Aid with the coordination required for the installation of electrical equipment and ancillary apparatus.
  • Carry out repair and routine maintenance duties on equipment, building facilities, and offices, building systems, grounds, and structures.
  • Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

 

Air Condition Maintenance Technician - Principal Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, maintenance, repairs, and installation of air conditioning systems, water coolers, and similar equipment.
  • Operate relevant equipment, monitor its functions, and read instruments; adjust mechanisms like valves and pumps for fluid, temperature, and pressure control; charge with the correct refrigerant and remove contaminants; inspect gauges and perform periodic maintenance checks. Recover, evacuate, test, charge, and dehydrate air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Perform repairs or adjustments on piping connections.
  • Assist in planning installation and modification projects, preparing specifications, and overseeing reconditioning and overhauling, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration systems and blueprints.
  • Order replacement of equipment parts as required.
  • Keep a record of the servicing of equipment.

 

Education and Experience

College diploma and/or NCTVET Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Maintenance.

College Diploma and/or NVQJ Level 3 certification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

Minimum three years of experience.

Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license.
