The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring the mall and cinemas are always safe, functional, and well-presented. Duties include basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and troubleshooting tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify and resolve issues.

  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC tasks.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and breakdowns to minimize downtime.

  • Assist with installation, setup, and servicing of equipment and fixtures.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards in all maintenance activities.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.

  • Support preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and reduce failures.

  • Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and materials; report shortages or needs for replenishment.

  • Collaborate with the Facilities and Operations team to ensure the property is always clean, safe, and welcoming.

  • Provide support during events, special projects, or operational requirements as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Handyman, or in a similar technical role.

  • Knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, and general repair.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues quickly and effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

  • Physically fit and able to work on ladders, lifts, and in varying conditions.

  • Flexibility to work shift system, including, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

 

Education & Experience

  • Technical/vocational certification in electrical, plumbing, or related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 1 year experience in maintenance, facilities, or related work.
