The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring the mall and cinemas are always safe, functional, and well-presented. Duties include basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and troubleshooting tasks as needed.
Perform routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify and resolve issues.
Carry out general maintenance and repairs including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC tasks.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Assist with installation, setup, and servicing of equipment and fixtures.
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards in all maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
Support preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and reduce failures.
Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and materials; report shortages or needs for replenishment.
Collaborate with the Facilities and Operations team to ensure the property is always clean, safe, and welcoming.
Provide support during events, special projects, or operational requirements as assigned.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Handyman, or in a similar technical role.
Knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, and general repair.
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues quickly and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Physically fit and able to work on ladders, lifts, and in varying conditions.
Flexibility to work shift system, including, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Technical/vocational certification in electrical, plumbing, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 1 year experience in maintenance, facilities, or related work.
