Maintenance Technician-A/C & Refrigeration

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot compressors, valves, pumps, and other mechanical devices.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Interpret refrigeration and electrical diagrams to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Coordinate installations and repairs with service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with safety standards and Lockout/Tag-out procedures.
• Assist with plumbing, welding, electrical, and light fabrication work where required.
• Support energy conservation initiatives and maintenance improvement programs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and participate in inventory checks.

• HEART/NTA Level 3 Certification in A/C & Refrigeration or equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Refrigeration Technician.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and mechanical skills.
• Certification or experience in other trades would be considered an asset.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
