We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that all facilities, buildings, equipment, HVAC systems, and company vehicles are properly serviced, diagnosed, repaired, licensed, and maintained to support uninterrupted operations.
An established organization operating within a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment is seeking to identify a suitably qualified and experienced professional to fill the role of Maintenance Supervisor at our Kingston location.
This role is responsible for the effective oversight of all maintenance operations, including facilities, building systems, and company fleet, ensuring operational continuity, safety, and regulatory compliance at all times.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Team Supervision
- Lead, coach, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and vehicle mechanics.
- Provide training, performance management, and mentorship to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Delegate assignments effectively, set clear performance expectations, and monitor progress.
Facilities, Building & Equipment Maintenance
- Oversee building maintenance and repairs, including structural upkeep, roofing, flooring, windows, doors, and general carpentry works.
- Manage electrical systems and conduct diagnostics to identify faults and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Carry out plumbing repairs and preventive maintenance, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
- Conduct HVAC diagnostics and repairs to maintain air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems essential to catering operations.
- Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all facility assets.
- Conduct inspections of all buildings and equipment, ensuring timely repairs to prevent disruptions.
Vehicle Maintenance & Auto Repairs
- Manage all aspects of the company fleet: inspections, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics (engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, braking, and computerized fault detection).
- Supervise and perform auto repairs including engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspensions, batteries, tires, exhaust, and electrical systems.
- Ensure all vehicles remain roadworthy, licensed, insured, and compliant with Transport Authority requirements.
- Oversee the renewal of all vehicle licenses, registrations, fitness certificates, and insurance policies on an annual basis.
- Maintain accurate service logs, insurance documents, and compliance records.
- Liaise with external garages, dealerships, and suppliers for specialized diagnostics, repairs, and warranty services.
