The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that MovieTowne Mall and Cinema operates at peak functionality, safety, and aesthetic standards.
Oversee all mall and cinema facilities: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, escalators, fire systems.
Coordinate sanitation of the complex to ensure premises are clean and hygienic.
Supervise daily workforce and allocate workload for routine maintenance and special projects.
Coach, mentor, train, and develop maintenance staff to meet current and future business needs.
Ensure lobby, kiosk areas, toilets, cinemas, administration, underground, box office, carpark, courtyard, and entire complex are clean, safe, and orderly.
Inspect cinemas, restrooms, car parks, tenant stores, booths, and all facilities regularly.
Maintain AC systems, lighting, wiring, machines/games, painting, and areas needing repair or renovation.
Collaborate with contractors and professionals during renovations.
Ensure restrooms are fully functional and stocked with necessary amenities.
Enforce adherence to company guidelines and standards.
Report any issues or critical updates to the CEO.
Respond promptly to emergency repairs and oversee preventive maintenance.
Manage maintenance budgets and track costs efficiently.
Support premium customer experience through facility upkeep and quick issue resolution.
Diploma/degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years experience in facilities or building maintenance (mall/cinema preferred).
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing systems.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays with 24 hour on call status in case of emergency.
