Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile, hands-on Maintenance Associate who can confidently tackle a wide range of maintenance, repair, and facility support tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with tools, and keeping operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a true “jack-of-all-trades” with practical experience across multiple trades such as basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify and address issues proactively.

• Handle general repairs including plumbing fixes, minor electrical work, carpentry, painting, patchwork, and hardware replacements.

• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.

• Support facility operations by assembling furniture, moving equipment, and performing light construction or handyman tasks as needed.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural concerns and determine appropriate solutions.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and workspaces.

• Work with external contractors when specialized repair services are required.

• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.

• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in general maintenance, facility upkeep, or related trade work.

• Broad knowledge and hands-on ability across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC basics, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

• Good communication skills and the ability to interact with staff professionally.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Physical ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform manual labor as needed.

• Availability for occasional after-hours or emergency maintenance calls preferred.
