Our client is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant/Handyman to support their company and affiliated properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance, plumbing, painting, and facilities management.

Maintenance Assistant/Handyman

Temporary (6 month contract)

Location: Port of Spain         

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance works including painting, cleaning, minor repairs, plumbing, AC maintenance, landscaping, and other related tasks.
• Supervise contractors during maintenance activities to ensure proper conduct and quality of work.
• Act as a courier for the company and affiliated businesses as needed.
• Coordinate daily tasks with the office and report to designated properties as required.
• Remain available 24/7 for emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Two (2) years in a similar role; experience supervising contractors is an asset.
• Four (4) CXC passes or equivalent secondary school examinations.
• Must own a roadworthy, insured motor vehicle (proof required).
• Must be proficient in using WhatsApp and mobile communication.
• Demonstrated honesty and integrity

Presentation: Must be well-groomed, appropriately dressed in maintenance attire, and able to communicate professionally.
