In this role, you will Observe proactively upstream and downstream machinery to guarantee high production quality and efficiency.

  • Responsible for safely operating machinery at or above standard levels of operation including quality, efficiency, scrap, and utilization. 
  • Perform Set up/tool change and commission each individual job run while ensuring machine set up procedure is followed 
  • Understands and masters the method of operation and the technical specifications of the machine/line.
  • Operates the machine from start up to shut down and everything in between (run, loading material, monitoring, handling of finished product, etc) 
  • Produce a variety of parts by loading raw material, setting, and adjusting parameters of the machine to ensure proper and safe operations. This includes packing finished products into bags and boxes.
  • Troubleshooting, identifying and correcting machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine to ensure the machine is operating at or above standard.
  • Perform in-process inspections of parts throughout production run and assure they meet visual standards of acceptance.
  • Inspect and recognize defective products and make machine adjustments to correct the cause of defects.
  • Identifies and separate good quality from defective products.  Tags items as specified.
  • Monitors production efficiency: addresses line stoppage and initiates immediate problem solving to correct the cause.
  • Report all malfunctions to Supervisors and Operation Manager.     
  • Provide innovative solutions for production issues.
  • Document repairs/maintenance of tools and report to management.
  • Executes standard lubrication (daily and weekly), maintenance, cleaning, and service operations according to plan.
  • Contributes to maintenance cost reduction and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) optimization.
  • Use cleaning solutions including using grease guns, oilcans, air hoses and cleaning cloths to properly clean equipment and production area.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment and abide by 5S and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Observes/follows established standard operating procedures, GMP rules, and good housekeeping.
  • Carries out receiving, counting, loading, unloading, lifting, lowering, and moving of items as part of normal duties.
  • Informs and hands over properly the status of machines, lines, and production at change of shift or start of work.
  • Observe general and safety regulations, related to the job at the machine (accident prevention regulations).
  • Any other and related duties which may arise due to the exigencies of the Company's operations and needs.
