Machine Operator - Tape Edge - (Barbados Based) Opened to Regional Applicants

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tape Edge Machine Operator to join our production team in Barbados. This opportunity is opened to regional candidates.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tape Edge Machine Operator to join our production team in Barbados. This is a specialized role for persons who have hands-on experience operating Tape Edge machines in the mattress industry. You must be detail-oriented, reliable and take pride in high-quality finishes. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Operate and maintain the Tape Edge machine for precision mattress finishing.

• Ensure all products meet the company's standards.

• Monitor Machine performance and make necessary adjustments.

• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow.

• Perform basic upholstery tasks with precision and efficiency.

• Perform basic stitching tasks on a straight stitch machine.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience operating a Tape Edge Machine.

• Willingness to relocate and work in Barbados.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Able to lift 50lbs or more daily.

• Basic upholstery knowledge.

• Able to operate a straight-stitch machine.

• Good communication and team work skills.

• Minimum of 2 CXC/O'Level passes.

• A valid Police Certificate of Character.
