POSITION SUMMARY 

As the Medical Delegate, you will be primarily responsible for educating about Nestlé Infant Nutrition products to health professionals (HCPs) from their assigned territory, through the presentation in detail and ethically of the characteristics, benefits, and scientific principles of the products, within the guidelines established by Nestlé Nutrition. 

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Apply and comply with the WHO Code, the Policy and Instructions for the Marketing of Substitutes of the Nestlé Breast Milk and the local legislation applicable to the market.
  • Promote brand-name or non-brand NN solutions through sustainable long-term relationships that are built with the relevant community of HCPs and health institutions (HCI).
  • Promote the principle of Nestlé in the sense that Breastfeeding is the best for the baby and that is the best recommendation on all other methods of infant feeding.
  • Prepare, execute, and give coverage to the daily medical visit plan to health professionals and health institutions, to guarantee frequency, coverage and reliable and updated attention of its panel, applying the techniques of medical visit (EES, AES).
  • Follow the guidelines of marketing cycles, including gathering and prospecting and knowledge data (ie, competitive intelligence), through relevant tools and systems, such as CRM 2.0. Maintain the HCP database in CRM and submit timely reports.
  • Teach, in a detailed and ethical way, to HCPs the scientific principles, quality and advantages of Nestlé Nutrition products through medical visits.
  • Implement scientific support programs for medical residences within their assigned territories (scientific medical activities, heads of residents, responsible for teaching institutions, etc.) to retain these HCPs from their formation.
  • All its actions must be carried out in compliance with the WHO International Code on the Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes, the Nestlé Policy and Instructions in this regard and local legislation, and to report the violations found by HCPs, trade, third parties and competitors. Ombudsman.
  • Make timely reports of the activities carried out, ensuring the execution of the strategic activities of continuous medical education generated from marketing
  • Maintain a permanent nutrition knowledge through the tools and evaluations that Nestlé Infant Nutrition has prepared with the offer of scientific evidence regarding child nutrition.
  • Coordinate seminars, conferences and events and actively participate with the HCPs and leaders of institutions to develop long-term professional relationships with HCPs and the entities responsible for medical decision-making
  • Monitor the presence of Nestlé Nutrition products in the institutions assigned within its territory and maintain in the database the institutional market share in comparison with the competition and which Nestlé Nutrition products are present in the institution.
  • Maintain the relationships with HCP's and leaders of institutions bearing in mind the Medical Delegate should not have any direct contact with mothers 

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL 

  • B.Sc. Medical or related field (Pharmacy, Biology, Nutrition, or Marketing) or student on final year of studies
  • At least 2 years prior experience in a Hospital Environment, Health Care or Pharmaceutical Industry will be an asset
  • At least 1-year prior experience in a similar role (Sales, Nutrition or Pharmaceutical)
  • Advanced Knowledge of the operation of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Advanced Knowledge of Nutrition
  • Intermediate Knowledge of Office
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated clarity in both oral and written skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in working under pressure.
  • Excellent Organizational skills.
