The Loss Prevention & Safety Manager will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in the physical protection and security of property ,assets, and the safety of all Members, Guests and Employees.
Job Summary:
The Tryall Club is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Loss Prevention and Safety Manager to lead its security, safety, and loss prevention operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the physical safety of all Members, Guests, Employees, and property assets. This includes oversight of security services, fire safety systems, accident and crime prevention measures, contractor and vendor compliance, and disaster preparedness programs.
The role demands a proactive leader with extensive experience in emergency response, safety audits, incident investigations, and risk management. The incumbent will also be expected to coordinate and conduct regular drills, training sessions, and inspections to maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor and oversee contracted security personnel to ensure compliance with service-level expectations.
- Supervise on-site security staff and ensure consistent 24/7 coverage through shift coordination and performance oversight.
- Conduct routine patrols across the property to proactively identify and address safety or security concerns.
- Administer and enhance loss prevention programs; recommend and implement improvements to reduce risks.
- Manage access protocols for external contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Oversee emergency preparedness initiatives, including regular safety drills and response plan updates.
- Lead incident and accident investigations; ensure timely reporting to insurers and internal stakeholders.
- Support health and safety protocols in collaboration with the Nurses' Station and Human Resources.
- Ensure all fire safety systems and equipment are routinely inspected and remain fully operational.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of daily security operations; provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a minimum of an Bachelors degree or professional certification in Security Management or Loss Prevention.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in security operations and emergency management protocols.
- Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Defensive Weapons Handling.
- Exceptional communication skills, with proven competence in strategic decision-making and effective time management.
- Demonstrated expertise in disaster preparedness planning and crisis intervention techniques.
- Must possess and maintain a dependable motor vehicle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Working Conditions:
Must be available on-call and able to respond to emergencies.
Simultaneous execution of multiple tasks in high-pressure environments.
Able to work various shifts within a 24/7 hour period.
