The Loss and Prevention Manager will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in the physical protection and security of property and assets, and the safety of all Members, Guests and Employees.
Job Summary:
The Tryall Club is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Loss Prevention and Safety Manager to lead its security, safety, and loss prevention operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the physical safety of all Members, Guests, Employees, and property assets. This includes oversight of security services, fire safety systems, accident and crime prevention measures, contractor and vendor compliance, and disaster preparedness programs.
The role demands a proactive leader with extensive experience in emergency response, safety audits, incident investigations, and risk management. The incumbent will also be expected to coordinate and conduct regular drills, training sessions, and inspections to maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Monitoring contracted security services and supervising security staff
Conducting regular property patrols and ensuring 24/7 coverage
Administering loss prevention programs and recommending improvements
Managing contractor and vendor access and compliance
Overseeing emergency preparedness plans and safety drills
Investigating incidents, accidents, and ensuring insurance reporting
Supporting the Nurses' Station and HR in health-related safety protocols
Ensuring fire safety equipment is functional and inspected on schedule
Maintaining daily reports and updating senior leadership on security matters
Qualifications:
Associate Degree or Certification in Security/Loss Prevention
At least 15 years’ leadership experience in security and emergency management
CPR, First Aid, and Weapon Training certification
Excellent communication, decision-making, and time management skills
Experience in disaster preparedness and crisis resolution
Must own a reliable motor vehicle and be proficient in Microsoft Office
Working Conditions:
Must be available on-call and able to respond to emergencies
Occasional irregular hours and multitasking under pressure
