The Loss Prevention Officer will be responsible for safeguarding our warehouse operations and protecting valuable construction inventory, equipment, and materials. This role is critical in ensuring accountability, security, and compliance within a fast-paced construction environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our warehouse operations and protecting valuable construction inventory, equipment, and materials. This role is critical in ensuring accountability, security, and compliance within a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor warehouse premises to prevent theft, damage, and unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular inspections of stock, equipment, and material movement.
• Maintain detailed records of goods received and dispatched.
• Investigate and report on any discrepancies, security breaches, or suspicious activity.
• Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and management to ensure compliance with inventory control policies.
• Support safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in security, loss prevention, or warehouse operations (construction industry experience is an asset).
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with integrity.
• Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform inspections.
• Proficient in basic reporting and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
