We are looking for a Logistics and Technical Service Manager to lead the Logistics and Technical Services function.
Duties and Responsibilities
WAREHOUSE
Management, preparation and submission of all reports assigned including performance reports, Contractor invoices and Staff Container/Overtime
Ensure compliance and enforcement of all health, safety and security measures in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Manage and Support the Stock Management Process and ensure they are adhered to for all Warehouse operations and locations
Actively manage the Inbound and Outbound Processes at all Warehouse locations
Manage, review and conduct daily/weekly spot checks on Customer Pick Up, Same Day Deliveries, Labelling, Rack Organization, Schedules, Vehicles and replacing of plugs with a view to continuously improve the process
To develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of COSACS computer system in relation to warehouse procedures.
TECHNICAL SERVICES
Lead Technical Services Department; ensuring standards are maintained regarding quality of repairs and turn-around time in keeping with the Company’s customer service proposition.
Supervise product recalls and reworks in line with company procedures
Conduct performance analysis to address weaknesses or underperformance
Identify opportunities and solutions through process improvement to improve productivity and cost control Implement Operation Safety Policy and ensure work done in-house and in the field is in compliance with all Health and Safety standards
QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
EXPERIENCE
At least three (3) years in a Management or Senior Supervisory position
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Good decision-making and communication (written and oral) skills
