A reputable organization invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of Logistics Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing logistics, procurement, warehouse operations, and inventory management across multiple locations. The role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, cost control, and continuous process improvement in support of production and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of logistics, procurement, warehouse, and inventory management functions across both Kingston and Montego Bay operations.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously review standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, aviation catering requirements, and food safety regulations.
  • Manage and execute purchasing activities and inventory controls in accordance with approved budgets, procurement policies, and operational priorities.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret inventory reports, stock movement data, and procurement trends to identify variances, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Systems teams to forecast demand and ensure uninterrupted supply of materials, packaging, and equipment.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including stock rotation, storage standards, and space utilization, to minimize waste, spoilage, and losses.
  • Monitor vendor performance and lead supplier evaluations, negotiations, and improvement initiatives to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead and coordinate monthly physical and system inventory reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting to management.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, customs agencies, and other relevant bodies to ensure compliance with import, export, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • BSc in in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in logistics, procurement, or inventory management at a leadership level.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement systems, inventory controls, and financial reconciliation.

  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and cleanliness.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
