Massy Wood is currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
The Logistics Coordinator (Crews) is responsible for the coordination of all logistics associated with employee crew changes and in support of operational and project activities, ensuring that each crew is fully manned and has the necessary PPE, hand tools and valid certificates required to perform their jobs safely and in compliance with Company and Client policies and procedures.
- Liaise with relevant Company personnel and Client onshore and offshore asset-based operations and project personnel to plan crews as per skill set required.
- Responsible for managing and tracking (electronically and manually through signed Distribution Forms) the issuing of PPE and hand tools for new hires and existing employees in accordance with Company and Client requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that all employees properly understand and adhere to the flight and site/platform mandatory requirements, site passes and restrictions.
- Required to complete the necessary documentation and packages for submission of Vantage applications and follow up to ensure employees are on system timely.
- Develop and maintain an accurate tracking system of employees’ site/platform assignments and off days.
- Liaise with the relevant Company and Client representatives to confirm check in and check out times for mobilization and demobilization dates respectively and arrange the necessary transportation for the crews.
- Ensure all employees are aware of their check-in time for mobilization days.
- Coordinate taxi and shuttle services for mobilization & demobilization of personnel
- Coordinate third equipment passes with EPC onshore logistic coordinators
- Coordinate employee movement according to project needs.
- Coordinate day night shifts and weekend manpower for the shop
- Keep team informed of planned flights and upcoming movements.
- Ensure a suitable replacement is available possessing the necessary mandatory medical and training requirements where an employee is unable to mobilize (for example, on vacation or medical leave) or must demobilize in an emergency (for instance, medical or family emergency).
- Liaise with the HR Team to advise on the availability of employees for mandatory medicals and training.
- Update personnel certificate records electronically at a shared location so that the documents are up-to-date and accurate when requested by Company or Client personnel.
- Provide Employee Certification Matrix for all personnel upon request.
- Submit the relevant updated mandatory flight requirement certificates to Heliport staff on an ongoing basis to ensure personnel records are up to date.
- Provide support in emergency situations as necessary.
- Maintain all records and documentation, both electronic and manual to auditable standards
- Perform all other job-related functions as required.
