Logistics Coordinator

Precision Packaging Inc, a subsidiary of Goddard Enterprises Limited (GEL), and a leading manufacturer of plastics and film for local and regional customers, is seeking to employ a highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical and self-motivated individual to join the team in the position of Logistics Coordinator. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

THE ROLE:

The responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator are:

• Ordering all equipment and materials required for production.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring levels of inventory remain at the recommended levels.
• Preparing required shipping documents and overseeing the shipping process of all exports.
• Overseeing the process of clearing shipments of raw materials and receiving them at the plant.
• Assisting with the warehousing of finished products.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or related field
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar capacity
• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong coordination, time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make good decisions under pressure and time constraints
• Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize time sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment would be an asset
• Customs broker licence would be an asset.
