The person will manage orders from the FOT markets' distributor in Carisma, ensuring customer service by delivering on time and in full, while coordinating supply chain and logistics with five supplying factories in line with BAT policies and guidelines.

BAT Trinidad & Tobago (WITCO) has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Analyst in Port of Spain

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the Order Processing System, ensuring that all orders received are processed, and the necessary documentation required are prepared and distributed on a timely basis (including Order Confirmation, Purchase Orders, Invoices, etc)
  • Support the translation process of the Demand Forecast for the End market into a Shipping Plan in line with EMF II timetable.
  • Monitor the progress of all orders from placement to delivery (versus shipping plan), preparing stock and cost analytical reports to minimize out of stocks and reduce operational costs communicating to the distributor to achieve delivery within specified BAT targets.
  • Support with preparation of the On Time In Full (OTIF) report and analyze root cause in order to prevent recurrent delays or shortages.
  • Manage the 'Terms of Trade' database and verifies consistency with Customer invoicing.
  • Manages the Customer Complaint Database reporting monthly on cost impact.
  • Manage the OTP Distribution to ensure market demand is met and shipment plan is optimized and executed.
  • Monitor and report write-off activity, for management purposes.

What are we looking for?

  • University Degree (BA or BS), preferably in a business-related field
  • Minimum of 1 year’ experience in a similar position
  • Intermediate Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, including Intermediate Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Good Communication (oral and written) Skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability. Excellent organization skills
