Loans Officer

We're hiring a Sales Loan Officer to join our client's team in Kingston

Our client is a growing Micro Finance entity in Kingston, Jamaica. On their behalf we are seeking to hire a Loans Officer.

Our ideal candidate will have a successful track record of high performance selling various loan products in a similar environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Booking adequate loan volume to meet & or exceed assigned monthly and annual sales target
• Interview prospective borrowers in branch or at the potential client’s workplace for various loan products
• Maintain a consistent and qualified/performing loan portfolio on a regular basis
• Identify reputable companies and solicit new customer via direct sale strategies
• Assisting with follow up to get supporting loan documents and other signed documents from applicants
• Create and maintain pipeline of potential clients and prepare sales reports
• maintain 30 days+ delinquency at 10% of total portfolio or less; assist with collection efforts within portfolio.
• Actively promote the companies’ products and services to potential clients
• Maintaining client relationships to ensure repeat business

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate Degree in Business Administration is a plus but not a requirement
• 3+ years’ experience as a Loans Officer within the Microfinance industry
• Excellent computer skills; experience working with a financial software, Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
