The Loading Coordinator has responsibility to coordinate all activities related to the loading and dispatch of goods from the warehouse to the delivery team and customer (pick up) with keen attention to accuracy.

Job Summary

The Loading Coordinator has responsibility to coordinate all activities related to the loading and dispatch of goods from the warehouse to the delivery team and customer (pick up) with keen attention to accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load outbound /routes trucks according to Load Sheets and Invoices
• Physically inspect products for quality before loading onto trucks
• Identify the pallets ensure the quantity matches invoice / load sheets amounts before loading goods onto trucks
• Direct trucks to assigned bays for loading
• Ensure shutters are closed upon completing each load
• Wear safety gears and IDs at all-times in the warehouse
• Document all discrepancies associated with loads, using the department Discrepancy Sheet
• Monitor and manage the cages
• Complete and submit monthly evaluation form for Ramp Assistants
• Report all matters of security to Operations Manager
• Any other duty that may be assigned within the scope of the job

JOB SPECIFICATION/COMPETENCIES [Minimum]

Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Diploma or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications)
• 5 CXC Subjects including Maths and English
• Two (2) years similar or related working experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to train new employees as required
• Embodies CHIRP values

KPIs

• Loading Accuracy (85-95% within a month)
• 90% average of the shift overall loads per day
• 100% compliance to all relevant company rules, policies and procedures
• Adherence to department procedures and completeness in the processing of all functional areas

SPECIAL CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE JOB

• The work hours will require a shift rotation
• The job is based on a minimum forty-hour workweek; however, the nature of the companys business will require flexible working hours during the week and possibly on weekends and public holidays
• The working environment dictates that the incumbent must be able to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment
• Standard warehouse environment with occasional outdoor activity
