Lifeguards

Grand Decameron Montego Bay is seeking highly skilled and experienced Lifeguards to join our team. As a Lifeguard, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety of our pool and beach patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Surveillance: Constantly observe the water and surrounding areas to identify potential hazards or signs of distress among guests.
Rescue Operations: Perform rescues using appropriate techniques and equipment when a swimmer is in danger.
First Aid and CPR: Administer first aid and CPR as needed, requiring certification in these life-saving techniques.
Emergency Response: Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies, including coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
Rule Enforcement: Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment for all guests.
Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, providing information about safety practices and addressing concerns.

Requirements:

Certifications: Current lifeguard certification from NEPA and Royal Life Saving Society and First Aid certifications.
Experience: Prior experience lifeguarding or teaching swim lessons is preferred.
Physical Fitness: Ability to swim long distances and perform strenuous rescues.
