As the designated Pharmacist at the Arima Branch, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while supporting the overall operation and growth of the pharmacy.

As the designated Pharmacist at the Arima Branch, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while supporting the overall operation and growth of the pharmacy. This role also includes engaging with customers beyond prescriptions to promote health-related products and services, contributing to overall sales performance, and assisting where needed within the team.
*Core Responsibilities*:
*1. Prescription Handling & Dispensing:*
- Accurately review and dispense prescribed medications.
- Provide appropriate counseling to patients on drug usage, interactions, and side effects.
- Ensure all prescription records are properly documented and stored.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceuticals and health products.
*2. Customer Service & Sales Support:*
- Assist regular walk-in customers with non-prescription items such as over-the-counter medications, supplements, and health products.
- Recommend suitable brand-name products when appropriate, to help boost sales and customer satisfaction.
- Encourage repeat visits by providing excellent, attentive service.
*3. Cross-Functional Support:*
- Step in to assist with receiving goods and checking stock when deliveries arrive, if other staff are occupied.
- Support the cashier by assisting with point-of-sale (POS) operations during busy periods, if needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized dispensary and retail area.
*4. Inventory & Stock Management:*
- Monitor and report low stock levels or product expirations to management.
- Ensure secure storage of controlled substances and high-value items.
- Work with the person responsible for doing orders to identify fast-moving or in-demand items to better meet customer needs.
*5. Compliance & Professionalism:*
- Avoid toxic behavior within the workplace to create a positive work environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and personal information.
- Uphold the values, reputation, and customer-focused ethos of the pharmacy
