As we scale our platform regionally and globally, we are seeking an accomplished Lead Developer to spearhead our local and international IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Leadership: Set the technical vision, architecture, and development standards for our cloud-native, high-traffic platform.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of software engineers, DevOps professionals, QA analysts, and UI/UX designers.
• Project Delivery: Drive full-stack product development cycles—from discovery and design through release and support—ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Innovation & Scalability: Introduce modern frameworks, microservices, and CI/CD practices that ensure performance, security, and resiliency as our user base expands.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business objectives into technical roadmaps and communicate progress to senior leadership across Jamaica and international offices.
• Quality & Compliance: Champion secure coding practices, rigorous testing, and adherence to regulatory and data-privacy standards (GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior or lead developer role, guiding medium-to-large engineering teams.
• Technical Stack: Demonstrated mastery in modern back-end (e.g., .NET 8, Node.js, Java/Spring) and front-end (e.g., Angular, React) technologies, plus experience with RESTful API design and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on expertise with AWS or Azure infrastructure, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire, coach, and manage cross-functional teams distributed across multiple time zones.
• Education: Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps, PMP) are an advantage.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, and a pragmatic, results-oriented approach.
