Essential functions of the job:

 

You will use your experience, skills and knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and practices to manage, supervise and motivate the team members of the Caribbean Talent Hub in Jamaica.  You must be able to act proactively to maintain smooth team operations and effective collaboration while always observing a strict level of client confidentiality. You will adapt solid working knowledge of the firm's structure, service lines, key personnel, and policies and procedures and keep abreast of Firm updates and new information. You’ll be part of a high-performing, diverse and inclusive team sharing best practices. 

 

You will manage tasks independently or teams - prioritizing and planning multiple tasks and projects in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, ensuring high quality and timely completion of work.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Manage the critical HR processes of the team such as performance monitoring, enhancing employee engagement, and effectively coordinating team onboarding/offboarding.
  • Create robust strategies for sourcing qualified candidates.
  • Maintain employee leave schedule to minimize workflow disruption.
  • Provide daily technical support and guidance to the team.
  • Efficiently handle and resolve all internal and external inquiries and grievances
  • Carry out new employee training along with the CTH Coordinator.
  • Direct the recruitment process in the Jamaica hub, aligning it with global procedures and company culture to deliver a positive recruitment experience.
  • Plan and execute team building and engagement activities, blending online and in-person experiences.
  • Gather employee feedback from PPMDDs for continuous performance enhancement and provide constructive feedback to employees.
  • Report monthly operational updates for the Jamaica hub to the CTH Manager.
  • Maintain an organized work environment for optimized productivity.
  • Take on or contribute to assigned special projects as required.

To qualify you must have

 

  • A Bachelor's degree or a certificate in Business Administration or relative discipline
  • Minimum 5  years’ experience in supervisory role will be considered an asset
  • Ability to effectively learn and embrace new technologies and techniques quickly
