The Laundry Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily laundry operations of a high-volume hospitality environment, ensuring efficiency, quality standards, proper inventory control, and excellent team performance. The ideal candidate must have strong operational knowledge of industrial laundry processes and experience in large-scale hotel operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the laundry department in hotels with more than 500 rooms.
  • Operate and oversee laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, mangles, and stain removal processes.
  • Ensure proper workflow and operational efficiency within the laundry department.
  • Organize, execute, and control linen inventory management processes.
  • Monitor and maintain the proper use and handling of chemical products according to safety standards.
  • Follow up on operational incidents and provide timely solutions to department and hotel-related issues.
  • Maintain quality standards for linen, uniforms, and guest laundry services.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the laundry team to ensure productivity and service excellence.
  • Handle basic administrative tasks, including Excel reports, email communication, and operational documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum experience in laundry operations within hotels of 500+ rooms.
  • Strong operational profile with hands-on experience in stain removal, washers, dryers, and mangle operations.
  • Knowledge of laundry operational workflows and processes.
  • Basic administrative and computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email management.
  • Experience managing linen inventories and operational controls.
  • Knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures.
  • Strong leadership, organization, commitment, and sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to manage operational incidents effectively and proactively.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
