Laundry Manager

Responsible for hotel laundry daily operations and services. Position directs and works with employees to wash, dry and iron linen for both guest rooms and Food and Beverage/Culinary Department within existing time constraints.

  The Successful applicant

-          Must have previous Laundry Management experience operating within a busy Hotel/Resort/Institutional environment.

-          Ability to manage and facilitate 1.5 million pounds of linens annually in addition to processing 15,000 pounds of guest laundry.

-          Work with incoming laundry contracts and facilitate the processing of off site linen contracts with 24 hour turnoaround times.

-          Knowledge of Chemicals and despencing systemsworking with contractors to follow up and confirm all in satisfactory working condition to meet the needs of the resort.

-          Ability to be proactive , identify defeciencies with the systems and commercial equipment, track trends, documentation of maintence records.

-          Previous experience working with Chicogo Ironers and various laundry machines, working knowledge to identify problems and trouble shoot until assistance arrives.

-          Must be a strong leader and communicator to work with team members to enhance productivity, scheduloing in both high and low demand periods.

-          Maximize production with effective use of hours worked

-           Processing of hours and payroll.

-          Evening, weekend and Holiday work will be required
