LIFEGUARDS 

Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of  all guests engaged in watersports activities or using the resort’s aquatic facilities by preventing and responding to emergencies.

Specific requirements/duties of the position include: 

• Maintaining visual contact with guests during their use of equipment and being fully prepared to render prompt assistance.
• Responding immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.
• Identifying and reporting any observed signs or symptoms of illness/injury of a rescued victim to the nurse and the dive supervisor and manager.
• Providing emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Presenting professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintaining  a high standard of customer service

 Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Leaving certificate
• First Aid & CPR Certified
• Valid lifeguard license
