Bert's Auto Parts is on the hunt for a driven and detail-obsessed Junior Payables Officer to power up our finance division. If you’re really good at accounting with the skills to tackle high-volume transactions and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to level up with a dynamic, industry-leading company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily posting of vendor invoices.
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Process payments to suppliers using Sage 50.
• Assist with A/P GL account reconciliation and vendor sub-ledgers.
• Reconcile assigned GL “Other Payables” accounts.
• Process travel expense claims and petty cash reimbursement.
• Generate bank cheque listings and assist with customer deposit uploads.
• Handle any ad-hoc duties as assigned, ensuring seamless financial operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in IT-based accounting systems, ideally Sage 50 or similar ERP software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of International Accounting Standards (IAS).
