Job Summary

To support the Vice President, Group PMO, in conducting a comprehensive current-state analysis of all departmental and functional processes under the Group COO’s remit. This includes gathering, documenting and mapping business processes, identifying inputs and outputs, functional interdependencies, existing pain points, documentation flows and systemic gaps. The role will play a critical part in enabling operational clarity and informing future process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Document end-to-end processes across departments.
  • Identify key inputs, outputs, deliverables and cycle times for each process.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and working sessions to gather process information, challenges and improvement ideas.
  • Create visual process documentation such as swim-lane diagrams and flowcharts.
  • Support the maintenance of structured process documentation and contribute to the central repository of findings.
  • Support the documentation of standard operating procedures.
  • Support the development of presentations, summary reports and insights for leadership review.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure consistency and completeness of analysis.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in similar disciplines would be an advantage.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, management consulting, process improvement, or a related role.
  • Prior experience in a consulting firm (e.g., Big 4) or corporate project/PMO environment is highly valued.
  • Exposure to shared services, financial services, or enterprise support functions would be an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with documenting business processes, even at a functional or department level.

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of business process documentation techniques (e.g., BPMN, swim-lane diagrams, SIPOC).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Proficient in Visio and/or Lucidchart.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills; comfortable interviewing users and taking process notes.
  • Highly organized, deadline-oriented, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks across departments.
  • Analytical mindset with basic familiarity in identifying process inefficiencies or improvement opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training or certification in business analysis, business process mapping and/or project management is would be an advantage.

Personality

  • Professional, reliable, able to deliver consistent work of good quality, and discreet when working with sensitive organizational information.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, corporate environments with evolving scopes and timelines.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Proactive learner, eager to dive into complex processes and ask questions.
