The Junior Accounting Clerk (Receivables) will support the Accounting Department by performing a range of accounting and administrative tasks to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping and efficient departmental operations.
Enter and verify financial transactions in accounting systems.
Maintain organized physical and electronic financial records.
Post and review daily store collections (cash and card) in QuickBooks.
Perform monthly cash reconciliations and reconcile cash sales in MyCart.
Reconcile one (1) bank account.
File deposit slips and settlement reports.
Perform other tasks as required by the department.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information.
Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Respond to vendor, employee, and departmental inquiries.
Support special projects as directed by management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Degree in Finance or Accounting (Required)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
